His father was Milutin Tesla, his mother was Đuka Mandic, and he had a sibling named Marica Tesla Kosanović.
Tesla is known for his work as an inventor and electrical engineer, particularly in the field of alternating current. He was honored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Among his awards are the Edison Medal, IEEE Fellow, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the White Eagle, Elliott Cresson Medal, John Scott Award, and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Sava. He died in 1943 in New York City.

A conversation with Nikola Tesla would likely be intense and visionary, focusing on his inventions, his views on electricity and wireless power, and his futuristic ideas. He might discuss his influences, such as Ernst Mach, and his experiences studying under Martin Sekulić. He would be worth asking about his work with alternating current, his awards, and his membership in the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
